Pusateri’s Fine Foods is consolidating all of its operations down to its flagship grocery store, while the remaining branches commence bankruptcy proceedings that will shutter their doors permanently.
“It’s important to note, Pusateri’s Avenue Road will not be negatively impacted by this restructuring. On the contrary, these steps are being taken to strengthen and ensure the long term success of this location allowing for a clearer focus on providing a winner customer experience of exceptional quality products and service,” Paolo Pusateri, head of marketing at Pusateri’s, stated in an online news story.
Pusateri’s has closed the doors to its Bayview Village location and scrapped its plans to open a new store in Toronto’s Little Italy. In 2023, it closed its Sherway Gardens Mall location. The Pusateri’s store inside the Saks Food Hall at the Toronto Eaton Centre will also remain open as a food service-only operation.
