Blende Scott, Save-On-Foods’ senior vice-president of merchandising and business development for the Overwaitea Food Group, is the latest recipient of the Jim Pattison Group’s coveted Outstanding Management Award.
The awards are presented to senior leaders in Jim Pattison Group companies who demonstrate exceptional leadership.
Scott began his career at OVFG over 43 years ago bagging groceries in Port Coquitlam, and then spent the next four decades moving through a series of progressively senior roles within the organization.
“I am honoured to be named a recipient of one of this year’s Outstanding Management Awards along with some of the most inspiring leaders of the Jim Pattison Group,” Scott said. “I have a tremendous team behind me that’s crucial to helping Save-On-Foods and the Overwaitea Food Group continue its growth, and this award is a reflection of the hard work put in by those folks every day.”
