Save-On-Foods stores came together to deliver $600 worth of groceries and $1000 in gift cards in support of the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. The eight Greater Victoria stores came together for Island families staying at Jeneece Place, where the families can use the food in Jeneece Place’s pantry to make their own meals between hospital visits.
Veronica Carroll, CEO of CHF said: “Families staying at Jeneece place are often experiencing some of the most stressful times of their lives and we’ve heard from them how much it means to feel the support and compassion of donors like Save-On-Foods.”
