SIAL Canada plans to go virtual with its 2020 trade show. The live show had been scheduled for September 29 to October 1 in Montreal.
“Having already begun the shift towards a virtual exhibition to meet the international demand, our platform will be able to welcome all our partners, exhibitors and visitors in September,” says Xavier Poncin, CEO of Expo Canada France / SIAL Canada.
Poncin says the virtual trade show incorporates innovative features such as customizable 3D booths, a chat system, access to an international buyers’ program, virtual meetings with SIAL experts and webinars.
At the same, Poncin says SIAL has launched the first “Food Inspiration week in North America,” which will take place September 28 to October 2.
