The Beer Store says it has expanded its distribution fleet and operations to support new grocery and convenience store customers that have emerged as a result of the Ontario government’s plan to expand alcohol sales, which includes $225 million in public funding for The Beer Store.

The Beer Store says as of now, it supports close to 4,000 convenience store customers and estimates upwards of 10,000 new points of sale will be added in the coming months. It also says it “supported the acceleration of large format packs in grocery over the summer and is well-positioned to continue supporting the transformation this fall.”

As part of the changes, it has also partnered with several CPG companies to offer salty snacks, meat snacks and energy beverages.
