Pattison Food Group is expanding its grocery store fleet with the acquisition of Chuck’s Produce and Street Market by Roth’s Fresh Market.

The acquisition follows on the heels of the recent announcement of the purchase of Oregon-based Roth’s Fresh Market, marking Pattison Food Group’s first acquisition outside of Canada.

Chuck’s Produce and Street Market operates two locations in Vancouver, Washington and has built its success on a commitment to providing fresh, local food with a focus on friendly neighborhood service. Chuck’s Produce and Street Market shares similar values with the team at Roth’s: both companies believe in supporting local first and are committed to delivering the freshest local products to their customers. Chuck’s Produce and Street Market is very active in their communities and just like Roth’s, they have been recognized in their communities with numerous customer choice awards.

“We are thrilled to welcome the team at Chuck’s to Roth’s and to the Pattison Food Group,” says Darrell Jones, president of the Pattison Food Group. “This is a great addition to the group that shares our commitment to excellent quality and customer service.”

Chuck’s Produce and Street Market will report to Roth’s president Tim Jennings and will maintain its current name and operate with the same great people who have made both Chuck’s locations such successful, highly regarded businesses in their communities.

“This is an exciting time for our company,” said Tim Jennings, president of Roth’s Fresh Markets.

“Joining the Pattison Food Group last October has given Roth’s the ability to grow and strengthen our business as we are doing today with the acquisition of Chuck’s Produce and Street Market.”
