Saskatchewan born PGA golfer Graham DeLaet has teamed up with Think Turkey in a campaign to show that “Turkey truly is the griller’s bird.”
DeLaet and Think Turkey will produce a three-part video series to showcase his favourite turkey recipes. Think Turkey will also be part of a digital retail program at Walmart and IGA, to inspire Canadians to buy turkey.
This is part of The Griller’s Bird campaign that started at the beginning of June, which is also national turkey month.
“Growing up in Saskatchewan, my summers were happily spent golfing and grilling,” says DeLaet. “That’s why I’m thrilled to team up with Think Turkey this summer to share my passion for barbecue and why turkey is a regular on my home grill through some of my favourite recipes – from Texas-style turkey breast to smoked turkey legs.”
Throughout the five-year campaign, recipes will be shared from campaign partners, experts, food bloggers and chefs.
