Sunterra Market opened the doors to its newest location in Red Deer, Alta. on March 16.

The new store is just under 20,000 sq ft and features a bakery and a coffee bar among its standard grocery offerings.

Sunterra Market launched in Calgary, Alta. in 1990 and today includes nine stores in Calgary and Edmonton. The Red Deer store marks the chain’s 9^th location. The chain was founded by Stan and Flo Price and today is run by their children and grandchildren.
