Preyash Thakrar will be leaving his post as Walmart Canada’s vice president for strategy and real estate to join Asda (Walmart’s UK operation) as chief strategy officer reporting to president and CEO, Roger Burnley. Thakrar has held a number of senior positions across Walmart’s international operations, including strategy director of Walmart Asia and vice president of international strategy before moving to Canada three years ago.
