Walmart Logistics has put out a call for 50 to 100 additional employees for its Cornwall, ON logistics hub, says a local report.
The new positions are for Walmart Logistics and for Walmart Fleet. Walmart held a job fair in Cornwall on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Walmart is continuing to ramp up operations at the Cornwall hub, which supplies Walmart stores across eastern Ontario. The hub covers 1.5 million square feet and handles over 500,000 packages a day. It handles fresh produce, dairy and meat products as part of Walmart’s expanding grocery business, as well as imported goods and high-velocity items.
