Metro completes renovations at Ontario store, donates $2,500 to local food bank

Metro has completed renovations at its store in St. Thomas, Ont. Upon reopening, the grocery chain donated $2,500 to the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank.

Joe Preston, mayor of St. Thomas, city councillor Tara McCaulley, and Karen McDade, general manager of the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank, were in attendance, as were customers and other dignitaries.
