Pierre Riel has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer for Costco Wholesale International. He succeeds James Murphy, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Riel had overseen the company’s Eastern Canada operations for more than 20 years and has served as senior vice president and country manager – Canada since 2019.
