Industry veteran, Tom Shurrie, joins CFIG
May 11, 2017 – Tom Shurrie is joining the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) on June 5, 2017 in the newly created role of senior vice-president, chief operating officer. His primary responsibilities will include sponsor sales, event sales and event operations.
Shurrie was most recently the executive vice-president, customer development and GM, Acosta Canada. Shurrie’s extensive industry experience includes senior roles with ConAgra Foods and Parmalat Canada.
