Food Basics marked the opening of a new Food Basics in Kingston, Ont. The store replaces an older one located on Bath St. The new location is at the Rio Can Centre Kingston.
As it does with most store opening, Food Basics donated $5,000 to the Partners in Mission Food Bank in the city. The organization is affiliated with Feed Ontario, which is a long-time partner through Metro’s One More Bite food recovery program. Food Basics now operates 144 stores in Ontario.
