Rabba Fine Foods is partnering with Good Shepherd Ministries for its eighth annual Super Bowl dinner event.
The event, taking place Feb. 11, will provide meals to more than 100 men at Good Shepherd Ministries during the big game — and weeks of additional meals. Pizzeria Libretto, Maple Leaf Foods, Lassonde, Campbell’s, Heritage Foods, Bush Brothers and Conagra are among key sponsors.
The annual dinner comes as Good Shepherd Ministries have seen an increase of nearly 30 per cent in demand for meals. According to city stats, there are 10,183 actively homeless people in Toronto. Moreover, The Good Shepherd Ministries served over 330,020 meals in 2023.
The food donation will include gourmet pizza, chicken wings, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, beverages, and 2,500 snacks beyond game day.
