The new Foodland store in Cobourg, Ont., made its debut November 12, 2021. The original store was situated in an aging building steps away from the new location. Construction of the new store, which is approximately three times the size of the older one, began in April. The new location features a new “fresh zone,” sushi bar, an expanded hot kitchen and deli, and full-service meat and seafood sections, including a lobster tank.
