naturSource opens new facility in Quebec

naturSource, which specializes in manufacturing healthy snacks and salad toppers, has opened its new facility in Dorval, Quebec.

The company will significantly increase its production capacity by expanding its manufacturing space.

“Our new facility offers a modern, functional space that combines all aspects of the business under one roof. It was designed for employee comfort and safety and offers a great opportunity for professional and personal growth, all while promoting the company’s success. From a manufacturing perspective, modernizing and automating our processes allows us to transform monotonous tasks into new professional opportunities that are more technical and specialized, enhancing our worker’s skill set,” says Mitch Oberfield, CEO at naturSource Inc.

For the occasion, Marc Doret, mayor of Dorval, Nishant Sharma, president of the West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce, Robert Atallah, president of Commerce Dorval, as well as Nathalie Robitaille, managing director of PME MTL Ouest-de-l’Île, were all present to help celebrate the success of this fast-growing Quebec company.

Designed with an open concept and windows for natural lighting, the facility includes social areas and a cafeteria for employees.

From a technological standpoint, the factory was designed specifically to optimize operations and integrate new technology and thorough analyses.

“This expansion to our factory shows our commitment to innovation, economic development and job creation in the region. Dorval was chosen for its strategic location and easy access to Montreal and the airport. As a proud Quebec company, naturSource is pleased to strengthen its ties with the local community and support the regional economy,” says Oberfield.
