Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollarama and Costco make Canada’s most reputable companies list

Three industry businesses — Dollarama, Costco Wholesale and Shoppers Drug Mart — have been recognized among the most reputable companies in the country in Leger’s 27th annual Top 10 Most Reputable Companies in Canada study. The three companies also made the list in 2023.

Shoppers Drug Mart ranks No. 6 on a list of Canada’s most reputable companies, according to a study from Leger.

“I’m pleased to announce that Shoppers Drug Mart has once again been listed among the most reputable companies in Canada. The Leger Reputation study — what many consider to be the gold standard for measuring corporate reputation — released its list of winners for 2024 earlier this week and as a Canadian company we are honoured to be in the top ten again this year. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone across our network. A very big thank you to our corporate and store teams for getting us here, and to our customers, for your continued trust and loyalty over the years, said Jeff Leger, president of Shoppers Drug Mart.

Dollarama ranked No. 9, while Costco Wholesale landed the final spot at 10.

Leger conducted a study with over 38,000 Canadians to find out what they thought about nearly 300 businesses in 30 different industries. It is an annual event that is founded on Leger’s unique idea of the six acknowledged pillars of reputation: quality, attachment, innovation, financial strength, social responsibility, and honesty and transparency.
